Every time I try uploading a video, it fails. What should I do?
Have you registered on uefa.com? Are you logged in? What format is the video you are attempting to upload? Files can be in .flv, .avi, .dv, .mov, .qt, .mp4, .wmv, .mpg or .mpeg format and can be up to 100 MB in size.
I don’t have a fast internet connection what should I do?
You do not need a very fast connection to enter the Ford Team Challenge. However very slow connections will affect usability of the site.
Can I send my entry in by email?
Yes. This year as long as you have registered your team on the website you can send us your videos to us in an email or even through the post.
How many players are required if I want to enter a drill?
Just the same as with skills entries, teams must contain at least three players for all drill entries.
No one in my team speaks English, can I still participate?
Yes. Speakers of any language can enter as long as they give the required information to camera.
I live in the USA but am originally from Europe, can I participate?
No. You may vote for your favourite challenges but you need to live in Europe to enter the competition.
I don’t have a video camera but I have a great team that wants to participate, what should I do?
You can record your entry on a mobile phone if you do not have a video camera.
I have uploaded three videos but none have been published, what could be the reason?
All videos are reviewed by the UEFA Training Ground team before they are accepted as entries into the competition.
My team doesn’t need the Ford Transit Minibus, can I get cash instead?
No, the prizes are fixed are not available for cash exchange.
What do you mean by a registered club?
Your club have to be affiliated to your country’s national association.
My club is not registered, where can I go to register it?
You need to contact your country’s football association and register your club.
Why is UEFA involved in this competition?
The Ford Team Challenge is part of UEFA’s ongoing commitment to grassroots football development
What has Ford got to do with grassroots football?
Ford are official partners of UEFA and a proud sponsor of UEFA’s grassroots programmes.
Who decides who gets the Ford Transit Minibus?
A UEFA panel of experts including Technical Director Andy Roxburgh will decide on the best entries, in conjunction with members of the UEFA Training Ground team.
What are the judges looking for?
Lots of sexy skills and you will be given extra marks for imagination and creativity.
Can I enter more than once?
Yes, you can enter as many times as you like, as long as it is with the same team.
Can I be part of more than one team?
No. Once you have registered to be part of one team you can only submit entries for that team.
Can I choose any team name I like?
Yes, although you cannot pick a name that has already been used in the competition. Also, names that are offensive will not be permitted.
Does it matter how many skills my team performs within an entry?
No. As long as your entry is within the one minute time limit and every member of the team gets a touch of the ball, it does not matter how many skills you do.
What happens if I go over the time limit?
As long as your entry is only a few seconds over the 60 seconds you can still win.
Is there an age limit for entering the competition?
No, as long as your club is registered with your country’s Football Association you are eligible to take part.
What kind of kit can I win?
Winners and runners-up will all receive adidas training and playing kit including jerseys, shorts, socks and sweater.
Does it matter what I wear in my team’s challenge?
No. You can wear what you want, be that your favourite team’s football kit or if you want to do it in fancy dress.
How will I know if I’ve won?
The winners will appear on the Training Ground website and will also be notified personally in due course.
When will I get my prizes if I win?
All prizes will be delivered within a month of the results being announced.
How long will the competition run for?
The competition will run up until 1 November, 2009.
